Testimonials
"My Pit Bull Mina has suffered from food allergies most of her life. The allergies are so severe that she’s been admitted to the emergency hospital multiple times for internal bleeding. She has been on every diet under the sun – low-grade kibble, super premium kibble, single-ingredient, raw meat, home-cooked meat-based, and even a home-made vegan diet. With allergies to certain animal products and common grains, it’s been difficult finding the perfect diet. I tried V-dog after I learned they didn’t use wheat, gluten, corn, or soy (she’s allergic to wheat & soy). After a few weeks on V-dog, Mina’s health improved. She had normal poop, her muscle tone improved, and she is truly enjoying her food where before she would barely eat. She’s nearly 15 and I can thank V-dog for helping keep her young at heart." - Marji Beach
"Wally and Juliette were both adopted from an SPCA and they absolutely love their v-dog kibble and breathbones! They have been on v-dog since 2011 and are very healthy and get excellent vet check-ups. I love the fact that v-dog is an all vegan company - vegan owned and operated! No animals need to be harmed for my kids to live, to thrive, to be very healthy and happy. V-dog greatly reduces the impact on the environment - I love it that all v-dog bags are 100% compostable! There is no better choice for my little guys for their health, for the health of all animals and for the environment than v-dog! Thank you v-dog!" - Ryan Moore

Dogs can be healthy and in fact, thrive on a vegetarian or vegan diet, as long as all necessary nutrient requirements are met. Dogs are biologically omnivorous, but can adapt well to a plant-based diet which meets all their nutritional needs. It's important that the food be digested easily as well as have good palatability. One of the most common ailments in dogs is skin allergies, which may sometimes be due to food allergy. Much of the time a dog has a food allergy it is to a meat protein such as beef, chicken, or one of the other common meat sources. Vegetarian diets may bring these food allergic dogs relief from their skin allergies. - By Armaiti May, D.V.M, C.V.A. Read the full article here.
